My visual artistry began at the young age of 11 and once I received my first camera, a polaroid, at the age of 16, I was off and running. Never did my eyes stop seeing everything as potential art.
When my daughters, Ashley and Kristin were born, I realized my love of photographing children. I started by using black and white film and painting with transparent oils directly onto the image. This went on for fifteen years. No color film for me. When the era of digital film arose, I fought it for a while, but soon realized that the paper and film in which I used for my medium, was soon to become obsolete. That was when I jumped ship and shot digital exclusively. I soon realized that it would become a never-ending discovery and a means to challenge myself and my art and happily, I have never looked back. I am also honored to be a licensed artist and sell my work to companies all over the world.
I continue to discover different locations and try to keep my art fresh and new. I love to learn and I truly enjoy my experience with my clients and hope that they feel the same.
I am humbled and gracious for your consideration in my work.
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
